MNS Consul Home Care offer a respite care service that is specifically aimed at providing much-needed relief for family caregivers. Caring is demanding and can be overwhelming at times. While some of our other services are long term, respite care is designed as a temporary service that allows caregivers to take a break from their duties and recharge their batteries, while ensuring that their loved ones are taken care of in a safe and supportive setting. Our staff are well trained to provide high-level care that is tailored to the individual needs of each client. The service can run from several ours to a few days according to the needs of the family.
By taking advantage of this respite, family members or other caregivers can prevent burnout and look after their own physical and mental health. Sometimes we step in when caregivers need to attend to personal matters or simply take some time for themselves. This will only serve to benefit the individual being cared for in the long run as their quality of care will be sustainable.

As with our other services MNS Consul Home Care ensure that our respite care is suited to each individual’s circumstance, needs and preferences. Our staff are able to assist with daily activities and provide medical and personal assistance as well as provide companionship. They endeavour to make the transition during this respite period for the chief caregiver as seamless as possible.
