Home Care Services Tailored to Your Needs

MNS Consul Home Care provides support to help customers live independently in the comfort of their own homes. Our services include:

We assist adults with managing their medication, including ordering and collecting prescriptions from the pharmacy and liaising with community healthcare services such as GPs, pharmacies, and district nurses. Our staff is fully trained to administer prescribed medication, whether from blister packs or original packaging. We can prompt customers to take their medication or provide hands-on assistance in managing it.

Our care staff helps with weekly or daily shopping, ensuring that all nutritional needs are met. We also support with managing finances and identifying shopping needs to maintain a balanced, healthy diet.

Supporting individuals with dementia requires care in a familiar environment. Our highly trained team understands the complexities of dementia and provides support tailored to the needs of individuals with various forms of the condition. Services include respite care, live-in care, personal care, shopping assistance, hourly care, and companionship, all designed to ensure comfort and security.

We offer a range of services to help individuals maintain independence in their own homes. Our team provides day-to-day household support, personal care, companionship, sit-in services, and medication administration, all tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

Our care workers offer compassionate support, helping clients remain in the comfort of their own home surrounded by familiar memories and loved ones. We provide symptom relief, pain management, and emotional support during difficult times.

This short-term service (lasting from one week to two weeks) is ideal for families needing support with a loved one who may have post-operative care needs, or for those seeking a break. Respite care allows family members to rest while ensuring the ongoing care of their loved one.

We provide trained carers to assist with one-on-one overnight or daytime care, allowing family members to get the rest they need. Our carers help with medication administration, toileting needs, and provide support with a turning regime to prevent pressure ulcers or pain. Care is tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual.

We offer one-to-one care for individuals who require assistance in their own homes. Our team of carers will live with you, offering personal care, medication support, nutritional assistance, companionship, and help with household chores, enabling you to maintain your independence.

Personal care is available for individuals who need support with daily tasks such as maintaining personal hygiene, dressing, or managing physical health. We tailor personal care services to meet the needs of individuals who may be frail, elderly, or physically unable to care for themselves due to a medical condition.

Our team is equipped to provide care for individuals with complex needs, including those with spinal or brain injuries, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, skin care needs, palliative care, or Huntington’s disease.

Funding your Care

There are many ways to fund care at home, and more people are choosing this route every day.

Getting support at home means you can have help exactly when you need it, without losing your independence.

At MNS Consul Home Care, we know that staying in familiar surroundings often leads to better health and wellbeing.

MNS Consul Home Care can support you if you have any of these types of funding

Private Funding

Many people decide to fund their own care, so choosing a provider you can trust is key. Private funding can come from income, savings, medical negligence payments or family support. We’ll always be clear about costs and provide a simple contract, so you know exactly what to expect with no surprises.

NHS Personal Health Budget

Managing your own care budget can feel daunting at first, but you don’t have to do it alone. We’ll guide you through every step, working closely with other health professionals to keep things clear and organised. A Personal Health Budget can be simple and flexible, and we’re here to make the process as easy as possible.

Direct Payment

Direct payments are funds from your local council or the NHS for people who’ve been assessed as needing support. Instead of services being arranged for you, the money goes straight to you- or someone you trust-to organise and pay for your own care. If you’re assessed as needing help, you have the right to request direct payments instead of council-arranged services.

Help managing your budget

Many people prefer not to deal with the stress of managing their care budget. We can take that weight off your shoulders by setting up an account and working closely with you, your family and other health professionals. We’ll make sure your budget is handled properly, covers all costs and is tailored to your needs.
