Home Care Support Braintree -Supporting your Journey

At MNS Consul Home Care, our team of experienced directors is committed to providing the highest standard of care. Being a small business allows us to genuinely get to know our customers and deliver support that’s personal and tailored to their needs.
We’ve built a strong reputation throughout Essex and Suffolk because we see care as more than just ticking off daily tasks — it’s about helping you regain independence and the confidence to live life on your own terms.
We’re proud to support Braintree, Chelmsford, Ipswich and the surrounding villages, including Great Notley, Cressing, Black Notley, Panfield, Gosfield and beyond.
Each visit is typically 30 to 60 minutes, shaped around your individual preferences and care needs. We also offer respite support following a hospital stay or illness, along with overnight and live-in care options. Whatever support you require, we’re here to help you stay safe, comfortable and cared for in your own home.

Funding your Care
There are many ways to fund care at home, and more people are choosing this route every day.
Getting support at home means you can have help exactly when you need it, without losing your independence.
At MNS Consul Home Care, we know that staying in familiar surroundings often leads to better health and wellbeing.
MNS Consul Home Care can support you if you have any of these types of funding
Private Funding
Many people decide to fund their own care, so choosing a provider you can trust is key. Private funding can come from income, savings, medical negligence payments or family support. We’ll always be clear about costs and provide a simple contract, so you know exactly what to expect with no surprises.
NHS Personal Health Budget
Managing your own care budget can feel daunting at first, but you don’t have to do it alone. We’ll guide you through every step, working closely with other health professionals to keep things clear and organised. A Personal Health Budget can be simple and flexible, and we’re here to make the process as easy as possible.
Direct Payment
Direct payments are funds from your local council or the NHS for people who’ve been assessed as needing support. Instead of services being arranged for you, the money goes straight to you- or someone you trust-to organise and pay for your own care. If you’re assessed as needing help, you have the right to request direct payments instead of council-arranged services.
Help managing your budget
Many people prefer not to deal with the stress of managing their care budget. We can take that weight off your shoulders by setting up an account and working closely with you, your family and other health professionals. We’ll make sure your budget is handled properly, covers all costs and is tailored to your needs.
